Take a visual journey around the page observing London’s rich history and culture as you move along the 17 mile long Line. Each of the 36 passing stops are intricately detailed with there familiar surroundings, architecture and history.
A lockdown project started in March 2020 and completed in 3 months. Illustrations created from a good knowledge of London and the use of google maps. Within the artwork there are some references to Covid 19… NHS tributes, social distancing measures, rainbows, and painted rocks.
Baker Street Station a stone throw form Madame Tussaud’s and famous for its connection to Sherlock Holmes who lived at 221B
Great Portland Street on the edge of Regents Park leading to Euston Square home of the British Library.
Bayswater Road best know for its famous resident J M Barrie who lived at number 100. Bayswater water Art Market also occupies the road every Sunday.
